In RS3 we heal at banks and also have multiple 1 click teles into a lender. We can rest anywhere for run energy, not that we ever really come to an end. We've got lodestones for fast teles round the map, akin to portals. Wardrobe storage can be accessed from our banks. PVM hub has Prayer/summoning restore crystal in addition to adrenaline crystals, and is easily available to most players. Spell book swap is a skill Cape perk and could be done from any lender. We have jewellery compactors so have little need for items such as mounted glories, Passage of the abyss can actually store 5k teleports from 6 kinds of teleportation jewellery which is great for clues.
OSRS player . Came to get Waiko, remained for Elite Dungeons after discovering what they had been during a specific Waiko-related quest. Release another region of the eastern lands using a fresh ED Trilogy. PoH's are now sadly completely useless. Building training and butlers, the final remaining'material' for them in RS3 have been left dead with this update.
It's a completely different reality in OSRS. By way of example, all of PvM Hub (War's Retreat) content could've been added to the ability, such as teleports and so on, as it's in OSRS. Your PoH would have been your foundation for all combat. RS3 is becoming an XP simulator now. Content and design no longer matter it seems - it is all about incorporating more'easyscape' MTX and pushing skills to 120 (the only important update the game's received lately, and no real surprise that it was the highest priority).
Just wait until Jagex releases and completely new Runescape and it is nothing but p2w mtx in a totally amazing game, then they squander their absolutely perfect opportunity to have a new runescape era. I'd agree with this if they did not already bring out AAU. They've stuck to their p2w by having no cash store that gives anything but decorative items. Ah yes, they would have been working on it for the past 5+ years and then scrap it after 6 months since it doesn't meet their expectations.
If their new game is half as predatory as rs3 toward its consumers I will not look at playing it one time. Because that is the only sort of participant left. There are a few old thoughts left. For now. Old head , I play lots of different games (even an other MMO), and I still play RS3 too.
